We handled our Otokent Ankara project in Ostim, one of the commercial centers of Ankara, in order to create a new center and meeting point beyond its own function due to its location and size. In our project, which has many details that will make it easier for car dealers to come together with customers, we planned to create a pleasant working area for dealers and an atmosphere where visitors can spend a long time by organizing vehicle and pedestrian movements in accordance with its nature.
Our project is beyond just an automobile sales structure; The multi-purpose store mix has been designed as a structure that can meet the many needs of the region, thanks to the relationships it establishes with its surroundings thanks to different elevations, innovative facade design and natural ventilation features.
By using the topographic features of the land, direct access to the building from different levels was provided, thus, a comfortable use during the day was aimed by distributing vehicle entrances and exits. The vehicle roads within the building were arranged in a one-way and systematic manner considering both vehicle traffic and short-term parking needs, and the vertical circulation was made fluent thanks to the use of different ramps in the up and down.
Supporting the building with natural ventilation thanks to the collapsible roof system, Preferring heating and cooling systems with high energy efficiency but low operating costs, Choosing low consumption products in lighting design, approaches that will make positive contributions to the building's usage process have been adopted. In this way, it is aimed that users and visitors can use the building with a high level of comfort, reduce operating costs and make the building a meeting point.
Thanks to the axle system that can meet various usage needs, modular stores of different sizes have been produced, and these stores have been diversified according to the usage preferences with mezzanine or basement floors. In this way, it is aimed to work as a whole with the supporting functions of the building by creating spatial usage alternatives from the basement floors to the roof.
Otokent Ankara has been designed as a building where everyone, from its employees to its visitors, will enjoy it thanks to its architectural setup, building systems and selected building materials.
