Demolition of structures in the area of Turkey Agricultural Credit Cooperatives Central Union of Facilities and instead proposing a new project with venues of different functions was designed by MSA Architecture.
Designed as a single block consisting of 4 basement floors, ground floor and 33 floors, the project includes trade and office functions. The entrances taken from different points by utilizing the difference in the level in the whole of the land also support the attempt to create a public space at different levels while providing access from multiple points to the structure.
All the activities that the users may need were met within the structure with the planned parking space for 580 vehicles and the technical areas for the offices and stores in the basement floors, as well as the social areas designed on the 1st and 2nd floors.
The area has been opened for public use thanks to single and double storey stores with 4260 m² usage area on the first basement, on the ground floor and on the first floor. Thus the human potential of the region where the building is located has been directed to the area. Natural light and ventilation were provided to stores on 1st basement floor with aperture that was formed on the ground. At the same time, the natural landscape was continued inside the building and the user was offered entertainment, shopping, eating-drinking facility at different levels and outdoors. Commercial units with flexible plans have a growth area of 1150 m² to be used if necessary.
Office units ranging in size from 20 m² to 520 m² and flexible enough to be shaped by the user were designed between 3-32 floors. With the floor gardens created on some floors, the areas where office users can come into contact with the outside environment have been made and the mass is alleviated by balancing the fullness-emptyness relationship at the facade with these areas. For the comfort of the office units, glass surfaces were preferred on the facades them to make the most of the light, ventilation and landscape.
Due to the 145 meters in height of the building, sharp turns at the corners of the building have been avoided considering the structure will be exposed to wind loads. The mass with transparent and softened façade lines is separated from the structures around it and reveals its own identity with the dynamics it has.
